Overview
Commonfund Capital is the private-markets arm of Commonfund, the investment firm founded in 1971 with a Ford Foundation grant to serve endowments and nonprofits. It builds venture, private-equity and real-assets programs that give smaller institutions endowment-style access to managers they could never reach alone. For GPs, Commonfund is a route to hundreds of endowment and foundation relationships through a single LP — a diligence-driven allocator with decades of venture program history and a patient, mission-aligned client base.
