Information Rights
Information rights contractually entitle an investor to regular company reporting — typically quarterly financials, annual budgets, and cap table updates. They are usually granted to 'major investors' above a check-size threshold, which is why small checks often fly blind. For a fund, they are the raw material of portfolio monitoring, LP reporting, and audit-season valuations, so negotiate them even when you don't take a board seat.
