Fund of Funds (FoF)

A fund of funds pools investor capital and commits it across many underlying venture funds rather than directly into startups. FoFs offer their investors diversification and access to hard-to-reach managers in exchange for an extra layer of fees. For GPs, they are professional, repeat LPs — several specialize specifically in seed funds and emerging managers.
