Graduation Rate

Graduation rate is the share of a portfolio that raises the next round — seed companies that reach Series A, As that reach B, and so on. It is an early, imperfect proxy for portfolio quality long before exits exist, and LPs use it to compare seed managers against market baselines. It can be gamed by bridges and party rounds, so pair it with who led the next round and at what price.
